C-Change Namibia Final Report

Publication Date:
09/01/2014

The C-Change Namibia Final Report summarizes the three-year Associate Award implemented in Namibia from October 2012 to September 2014. The Associate Award continued under the C-Change Leader With Associates project from July 2008 to September 2012. The goal of the Associate Award was to decrease morbidity and mortality with an emphasis on women, children, and underserved populations. The AA also contributed to two cross-cutting areas of the Namibia Global Health Initiative: transitioning and access. Specifically, C-Change Namibia supported the transition to country ownership through TA to the MOHSS Directorate for Special Programs (DSP), the HIV Prevention TAC and PEPFAR-funded CSOs. The project also strengthened capacity to design and implement quality SBCC projects and to coordinate SBCC efforts in the health sector with the aim to help reduce maternal and child mortality, decrease HIV incidence and prevalence, and prolong the survival of persons living with HIV and AIDS.
