Sitingawawo Kachingwe, Chief of Party, was dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Malawi, and is a registered nurse and midwife. She has lectured in community health nursing for over 20 years, covering topics such as research, midwifery, public health practice, health system evaluation, youth-friendly HIV/AIDS services, and health service management. She was a program manager for Mzake ndi Mzake, a Malawi research project on mobilizing health workers for HIV prevention. She has a master’s degree in community health.

Webinar Held on Best Practices in Communication for Community-Based Malaria Programs

C-Change and MCHIP facilitated a webinar to showcase best practices by Malaria Communities Program (MCP) grantees HealthPartners Uganda and Concern Universal Malawi on September 13, 2010. MCP is a program of the President's Malaria Initiative (PMI). PMI has awarded grants worth $30 million to 20 organizations to support national malaria prevention and treatment efforts.
